At the recent Essex Chronicle Sports Awards, Chloe picked up the Sports Personality of the Year award for a second time. The award is voted for by the readers of the Essex Chronicle and Brentwood Gazette and has capped off a great 2012.

Recent School Visits


Chloe has been busy visiting schools and helping to inspire and train young people with the London Olympics rapidly coming up.

Recent visits in Essex include Perryfields Infant and Junior Schools in Chelmsford, and the Appleton School in Benfleet (Below).

Saffron Walden Museum in Essex have a special exhibition on until 01/07/2012 about 'Sporting Heroes'.

There is a chance to see Chloe's playing kit from the Beijing Olympics on display along with her 2006 Commonwealth Games bronze medal and many other interesting objects from her playing career.

'It's My Bag' is also on display as well.

'It's My Bag' on Display in Southend-on-Sea

There is a new exhibition on at the Beecroft Gallery in Southend, Essex, of the 'Journey to the Podium' artwork.

A new piece of artwork inspired by Chloe and and entitled 'It's My Bag' is on display for the first time.

Designed and produced by Colchester-based artist, Jacqueline Davies, the piece is made up from items associated with Chloe.

There is also another chance to experience 'Bully' by Tim Skinner, a piece of sound art using the noises from hockey.

The works can be viewed with other pieces showcasing Essex Olympic athletes until 31st March 2012.

During the summer period the artworks will be featured in a special exhibition at the Houses of Parliament.

Open Tuesday to Saturdays, the Beecroft Gallery is opposite Southend's Cliffs Pavilion.
